The material used for our "Guitar" sheet is low-density polyethylene. This material enables chocolate to be poured very easily. These sheets are so thin that they are flexible enough to work with sugar paste too. Suitable for food contact, guitar foil gives your delicious chocolate a smooth, glossy texture, for an exquisite result. Thanks to its low density, it can be used as a tracing paper, to pour your chocolate to create or copy a motif simply thanks to its transparency. As well as being very thin and transparent, this sheet has another advantage: it is non-stick.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEBD AND PEHD PLASTIC?
First of all, pebd stands for low-density polyethylene and pehd for high-density polyethylene.
The difference lies in the density of the bag and its overall use. LDPE is less resistant but less expensive, while HDPE is more expensive but more resistant. LDPE has a 65% crystallinity rate, compared with 80% for high-density HDPE. The advantage of LDPE is that it's supple, aesthetic and pleasant to the touch, making it ideal for caterers and bakers. HDPE, on the other hand, is rigid, high-performance and noisier to the touch, making it more suitable for fast-food and take-away outlets.
